SDSU men's basketball team goes 1-1 in Bahamas

BAHAMAS – The South Dakota State men’s basketball team went 1-1 in two games in the Bahamas as part of a summer foreign tour.
SDSU fell to the Egyptian National Team, 67-62, on Monday before beating House of Hoops, 105-57, on Wednesday.
Matthew Mors, the freshman from Yankton who transferred from Wisconsin this offseason, led the Jacks in the win over House of Hoops with 18 points. He also grabbed five rebounds and dished out five assists.

Freshman guard Tanner Te Slaa scored 15 points and seven rebounds and freshman forward William Kyle III had 14 points and four rebounds. Zeke Mayo had eight points and four assists.
SDSU shot 43.8% (14-32) from three and shot 55.9% from the field in the win.
The Jackrabbits struggled from the field in the game against Egypt as they shot 31.9%. They were also 8-33 from the three.
Mayo led SDSU with 13 points and six steals. Luke Apple and Kyle III each had nine points. Matt Dentlinger had eight points and eight rebounds. Alex Arians had six points.
