SDSU men's tennis drops close decision to Augustana

SIOUX FALLS – The South Dakota State men's tennis team dropped a 5-4 decision to Augustana on Wednesday in Sioux Falls.

At No. 3, Marco Paulo Castro and Chuck Tang won the lone doubles point, defeating Reed Ritterbusch and Trae Olson, 8-6.

Emerson Styles fought a hard battle to upend Zachary Adkins, 6-2, 4-6, 10-3 at No. 1 singles. Tang dropped Andrew Johnson, 6-1, 6-1 at No. 5 singles and Jonny Higham captured a 6-2, 6-3 win over Joe Sawatzke at No. 4 singles.

The Jacks travel to Colorado to take on Denver on Saturday.
