SDSU sweeps ORU in Summit League women's soccer

TULSA, Okla. – Kayla Wisniewski scored twice and Taylor Lock and Hailee Fischer combined for a pair of shutouts as South Dakota State beat Oral Roberts 2-0 on both Friday and Sunday in Summit League women’s soccer action.

The Jackrabbits (2-0-2) host Kansas City on Friday at 3 p.m. and Sunday at 1 p.m..

Sunday

 SDSU 2, Oral Roberts 0

Cecilia Limongi scored in the 53rd minute and Wisniewski in the 55th. Assists went to Kaycee Manding and Karlee Manding.

Lock made two saves in the first half and Fischer completed the shutout in the second.

The Jackrabbits outshot the Golden Eagles 19-4, including 7-2 on goal.

Friday

 SDSU 2, Oral Roberts 0

Eden Brooker and Wisniewski found the back of the net.

Lock got the start and Fischer played the second half, logging one save.

Brooker scored on an Avery LeBlanc assist in the 27th minute. Wisniewski provided an insurance goal in the 59th minute, with Kaycee Manding picking up the assist.

The Jackrabbits outshot the Golden Eagles 15-4, including 4-1 on goal.
