FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. – LSU swept South Dakota State 25-23, 25-14, 25-13 to conclude the Lumberjack Classic on Saturday.
Whitney Forman had 10 kills and 3 1/2 blocks (one solo) for the Tigers. Allee Morris added nine kills and a pair of blocks. Samarah Hill contributed seven kills and two blocks.
Karli Rose dished out 22 set assists. Hill and Raigen Cianciulli both came up with 11 digs.
The Jackrabbits’ Tatum Pickar, who was selected to the all-tournament team, recorded 10 digs.
Makenzie Hennen had 12 kills and Crystal Burk added four to go with a pair of aces. Madison Fay had 14 set assists.
SDSU dropped to 3-6.
The Comfort Suites University Jackrabbit Invitational is Friday and Saturday at Frost Arena.
