SDSU women move into first place

NEBRASKA CITY, Neb. – Battling winds that reached 30 miles per hour, the South Dakota State women's golf team moved into first place at the 2017 Summit League Championship at Arbor Links.

The Jackrabbits shot a second-round 314 (297-314–611) and lead second-place Denver (613) by two strokes on the par-72, 6,142-yard course. SDSU collected six birdies compared to 14 in the first round.

Mingo stayed atop the leaderboard with a two-round 149 (69-80). Teresa Toscano jumped into a tie for second with a 152 (75-77).

Hallie Getz (77-78) and Sydney Bormann (76-79) are both tied for 10th with 155s. Islamiah Fuad is 44th (84-92–176).

North Dakota State is in third (634), Oral Roberts is fourth (638) and IUPUI (639) rounds out the top five.
