SDSU women’s golf team in 15th in Florida

CORAL GABLES, Fla. – The South Dakota State women’s golf team shot 305 in the second round Tuesday and remained in 15th place with a 36-hole total of 614 at the Hurricane Invitational, hosted by Miami at the 6,150-yard, par-72 Biltmore Golf Course.

No. 46 Louisville (288) still tops the 15-team leaderboard at 2-under-par 574. No. 16 Northwestern (288) is second at 577, followed by No. 34 Michigan (292) in third with a 582 total.

The Cardinals’ Lauren Hartiage (70) and Olivia Cason (72) along with Barry’s Tilda Larsson (72) are tied for the individual lead at 3-under 141.

Two players are 2-under, three are 1-under and four are at even par.

For the Jackrabbits, Hallie Getz (76) is tied for 43rd at 151, Megan Mingo (76) and Sydney Bormann (77) are tied for 61st at 154, Teresa Toscano (76) is tied for 65th at 155 and Islamiah Fuad (85) is tied for 82nd at 164.

Competing as an individual, Natcha Srimaneerungroj (83) is in 81st at 162.

The tournament, which has a field of 86 golfers, concludes today.
