The Big East Conference announced its volleyball team on Wednesday.
Area athletes named to the team included Flandreau seniors Marianna Pavls and Jaycie Pulscher, along with Sioux Valley senior Bekah Bahn.
Earning honorable mention honors for the Fliers were seniors Rylee Iott and Hannah Parsley, while Cossack junior Miakken Vincent and sophomore Rylan Willis made that list, as well.
McCook Central/Montrose won the league title with an unblemished 7-0 record while the Fliers were fifth (2-5) and Sioux Valley was seventh (1-6).
