ELKTON – A backyard shed door was damaged, and items removed or damaged last week, according to the Brookings County Sheriff’s Office.
The vandalism was reported at 2:25 p.m. Saturday and occurred in the 300 block of Second Street in Elkton, Assistant Sheriff Scott Sebring said.
“It was found that the door to the shed had been broken and seven small window panes had been removed from the east side of the shed. The owners also found a DVD player in the shed that had been damaged. The damage was estimated at $100,” Sebring said.
The incident happened sometime between noon Friday and when it was noticed at 2:25 p.m. Saturday, he added.
