BROOKINGS – Single-game tickets for South Dakota State's 2017 football season will go on sale Tuesday through the Jackrabbit Ticket Office and online at JackrabbitTickets.com.

Pricing for single-game tickets starts at $27, with prices varying by game and seat location.

The Jackrabbits' six-game home schedule kicks off Aug. 31 versus Duquesne, marking the first time SDSU has opened the home slate with a Thursday-night contest.

SDSU also will play host to Drake in the 51st annual Beef Bowl on Sept. 16 before opening Missouri Valley Football Conference home action with back-to-back games against Southern Illinois and Northern Iowa on Oct. 7 and 14, respectively.

Completing the home schedule are a Nov. 4 game against North Dakota State and a Nov. 11 Military Appreciation Day matchup versus Illinois State.

For the Nov. 4 Dakota Marker matchup with North Dakota State, anyone who purchased a football ticket – whether single-game, group, mini-plan or season ticket – during the inaugural season of play at Dana J. Dykhouse Stadium in 2016 will be given priority starting Aug. 1 to purchase a limited number of tickets remaining for that contest. To place an order at $47 per ticket, these customers must log in to their account at JackrabbitTickets.com.

Any remaining tickets for the Nov. 4 contest will go on sale to the general public on Sept. 18 at a cost of $55 per ticket.

The Jackrabbit Ticket Office is open weekdays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Phone orders for all but the Nov. 4 game can be processed by calling (605) 688-5422.
