Our local Brookings Softball Association is looking for umpires. If you are looking for some extra money during the summer please consider reaching out to us for more information.
This would be a great opportunity for someone that is retired or a school teacher who is looking for extra money in the summer.
We have leagues four days a week and if you wanted we could put you in touch with the correct people to work tournaments on the weekends. You can work as little as one night a week or all four if you choose. We have two men’s leagues, one women’s and one coed. I know the perception of umpiring adult softball leagues isn’t great but I ask you to give us a chance. If you are interested we do have a Facebook page with all of our contact information or you can check out the job listing with the Department of Labor office.
