South Dakota Rushmores are Roy Hobbs 75+ World Series champs

The South Dakota Rushmores won the Roy Hobbs 75+ World Series, which was contested Nov. 17-23 in Fort Myers, Florida.

They fell 6-2 to the San Diego Padres in their opening game but then rattled off six consecutive victories – including a 22-3 defeat of the Padres in the championship – to take the title.

The Rushmores won the 70+ division in the tourney in 2012 and 2014.
