On March 13, the BHS seniors left the building not knowing it was the last time they would all be gathered together. The COVID-19 pandemic drastically changed the conclusion of their high school career. “We’re in this together” took on a whole new meaning. Our community rallied together and showed these seniors the love and support they needed.
We would like to thank BHS, the Brookings School District, and the City of Brookings for a very memorable graduation ceremony. You took care of the Class of 2020 with pride and respect.
We would also like to thank the local businesses, law enforcement, Brookings Radio, community members, and parents that went above and beyond making T-shirts and yard signs, displaying messages on marquees, gathering together for Cruise Against Corona prom and graduation edition, and just showing the general support the seniors needed. We cannot thank you enough.
Thank you, Brookings!
