TCF helping stock classrooms

BROOKINGS – The Twin City Fan facility in Brookings recently worked with local elementary schools to purchase additional and needed supplies for the classrooms.

In August, each elementary school was given $500 worth of supplies that were requested by teachers. Supplies such as binders, headphones, crayons, tissues and markers were given to the principals of the schools.

Torres Chan, multicultural outreach and recruitment liaison for TCF, said the company wants to be involved with all of the communities it has offices and facilities in and this was a way to give back and support the local schools.

Torres Chan said that they wanted to help these teachers so they wouldn’t have to buy supplies out of their own pocket.

TCF has been helping out the Brookings School District for the past few years, much of which has been working with the Bobcat Backers program.
