Third Sunday breakfast

Posted

GAP, Great Afternoon Place, a nonprofit organization for sponsoring a safe environment for school aged students, is the group that will be helping with the Third Sunday Breakfast sponsored by the VFW Auxiliary.

Representatives of the GAP organizations will be on hand to visit with community residents enjoying breakfast. GAP volunteeers will also be serving the breakfast goers their meal.

The auxiliary members will again prepare breakfast. The breakfast menu will include pancakes, biscuits and gravy, sausages, scrambled eggs, toast, juice and coffee.

All you have to do is decide if you want pancakes for $7 or biscuits and gravy for $7; everything else comes with your meal. If you have a hardy appetite, you can get both biscuits and gravy and pancakes for just $9. For children from the age of 3 to 7, they can choose pancakes or biscuits and gravy for just $4. Children 2 and under eat for free.

Come and join us on Nov. 18. Breakfast is served at the VFW Post Home located at 520 Main Avenue. Serving hours are from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
