VOLGA – Thirteen storage sheds were broken into last week and items were stolen, according to the Brookings County Sheriff’s Office.
The theft was reported Friday and occurred at 400 E. First St. in Volga. It is believed to have happened sometime between Sept. 25 to when it was noticed on Friday, said Assistant Sheriff Scott Sebring.
“It was found that 13 storage sheds had been broken into and the locks had been cut off all of the sheds. Miscellaneous items were stolen from the 13 sheds, with an estimated value of $650,” Sebring said.
