Katlyn Thomas, daughter of Geoff and Gerri Thomas of Wright, Wyoming, and Josh Schultz, son of Rick and Lori Schultz of Brookings, were married on Oct. 27, 2018.
The wedding took place in the beautiful Black Hills of South Dakota, where the couple fell in love. The Rev. Todd Lynch of Fountain Springs Church officiated the ceremony at the K Bar S Lodge in Keystone. Dancing and cake followed.
Given in marriage by her father, the bride was attended by Dr. Shannon Adams as her matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Jenna Schultz, Marie Andersen, Ana Peterlin and Kristin Torgerson.
The best man was Johney Tsai, groomsmen were Cameron Thomas, Josh Thomas, Donovan Torgerson and Dallas Fischer.
The bride graduated from the University of Wyoming and holds a Bachelor’s of Science degree in family and consumer sciences with a concentration in dietetics. She completed her internship at the University of Northern Colorado and then accepted a clinical dietitian position at Rapid City Regional Hospital.
Schultz has a Bachelor’s of Science degree in nursing from South Dakota State University.He started his career at the Rapid City Regional Hospital and then in 2017 was accepted into the Doctorate of Nurse Anesthesia Practice program at Mount Marty College. He will complete his schooling in May 2020.
A honeymoon in Mexico is planned; afterwards snacks and adventures will ensue wherever the midwestern winds blow the newlywed couple.
