Tools stolen from shed near Bruce


BRUCE – Tools were stolen from an unlocked shed in rural Bruce, according to the Brookings County Sheriff’s Office.

The theft was reported at 11:10 a.m. Saturday, Assistant Sheriff Scott Sebring said.

“The Brookings County Sheriff’s Office took a report of tools stolen from an unlocked shed at an abandoned acreage. The suspect or suspects entered the unlocked shed and stole several tools worth approximately $1,000,” Sebring said.

The theft occurred sometime between this summer and when they were noticed missing on Wednesday, he said.
