BROOKINGS – The Brookings School District and the Brookings Education Association honored district teachers, staff and supporters Wednesday evening at their 2018-2019 Teacher and Staff Recognition event at Brookings High School.

Dozens of awards were handed out in V.A. Bell Auditorium, including honors for Teachers of the Year. One teacher was honored from each school in the district, and from that group the Brookings School District teacher of the year was selected.
