SIOUX FALLS – South Dakota State's Teresa Toscano was named Summit League Women's Golfer of the Week.
This is the 10th time in Toscano's career she has been honored by the league as either Golfer of the Month or Golfer of the Week.
Toscano led the Jackrabbits as she recorded a top-five finish for the 16th time in her career, tying for second at the Reynolds Lake Oconee Invitational after posting a three-round score of 3-over-par 219. Throughout the 54 holes, the senior frrom Huelva, Spain, tallied 11 birdies, including four in each of the final two rounds. Toscano finished just two strokes off the pace.
Toscano and the Jackrabbits return to action March 8-9 as they host the Jackrabbit Invitational in Boulder City, Nevada.
