Trenton Hofer, 24, of Brookings and formerly of Hitchcock, died Saturday, Feb. 8, 2020, after a skiing accident near Lead.
His funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 12, at Bethesda Church, Huron. Burial will be in the Prairie Bible Church Cemetery, rural Carpenter.
Visitation is today from 4 to 7 p.m. at Bethesda Church, with his family present during that time, and a prayer service and time of sharing at 6:30 p.m. at the church.
Trenton Ethan Hofer was born October 10, 1995, to Todd and Melanie (Ellis) Hofer at Huron. He continued his education at SDSU, graduating from there in 2018 with a degree in Ag-Business.
In lieu of flowers, his family requests memorials be directed to two of Trent’s ministries: Byron Bible Camp of Huron and Equip Campus Ministries at First Baptist Church of Brookings.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted with the Kuhler Funeral Home.
