Samantha Tupper, of Wink’s Fine Jewelry in downtown Bookings, has been awarded the title of Registered Jeweler of the American Gem Society, an association of professional jewelers in North America.
By earning the prestigious title of Registered Jeweler, Tupper has demonstrated knowledge and experience in the jewelry industry.
Tupper works with her grandfather, Jerry Miller, owner of Wink’s and himself a Registered Jeweler since 1977.
There are only four American Gem Society Registered Jewelers in South Dakota. Tupper is heir apparent to take the helm and buy Wink’s when her grandfather retires – but Miller is in no hurry to do that.
