SIOUX FALLS – South Dakota State juniors Anna Donnay and Micah Mather have been named to the Summit League’s Cross Country Academic All-League Team for their exceptional efforts in the classroom and on the cross country course.

Donnay holds a cumulative GPA of 3.879 as a dairy production and dairy manufacturing major, while Mather carries a 3.429 GPA as a physics major.

Donnay’s mark from Pre-Nats is the fourth fastest 6K time across the Summit League this season.

Mather holds the Summit League’s fastest 6K time of the season, an 18:18.1 that earned him a first-place finish at the Bison Open on Aug. 30, and the league’s third-fastest 8K time of 24:46.5 from the Summit League Championship, where he took second overall on the way to SDSU’s perfect score of 15 to take the team title.

Both Donnay (10th, 20:57.0) and Mather (23rd, 31:31.0 in 10K) took home All-Region honors at the NCAA Midwest Regionals in Stillwater, Oklahoma, on Nov. 15. There, Mather led the men’s team to their best regional finish to date (fourth place), and Donnay tied Rachel King’s 2017 place for best finish by a Jackrabbit at Midwest Regionals.
