BROOKINGS – One teen was arrested after several underage drinkers were found at a party Saturday night, according to the Brookings County Sheriff’s Office.
Kade Anthony Shriver, 19, of Brookings, was allegedly hosting the party and was arrested on suspicion of common nuisance, said Assistant Sheriff Scott Sebring.
Deputies conducted a traffic stop near 200th Street on 471st Avenue in rural Brookings, said Sebring.
“The occupants in the vehicle were under the age of 21 and found to have consumed alcohol. They were issued citations for underage consumption,” Sebring said.
The residence where they had been was located, and the South Dakota Highway Patrol and Brookings County Sheriff’s Office responded to that residence, where they found several people under the age of 21, Sebring said.
