He married Marvis Steinberg on Oct. 19, 1955. They were blessed with two daughters, Debra Jensen and Vickie (Jensen) Knudson.

Vincent began his career in the grain elevator business at age 17 at the Oldham Sexhauer Grain Elevator. His career took him to Egan, Pierpont and then Ipswich. In that time it grew from a small co-op to North Central Farmers Elevator a large corperation which consisted of elevators in seven communities.

Vincent was very loved and respected by his employees and the farmers he served. He also served as the president of the South Dakota Farmers Elevator Association for many years.

Vincent enjoyed hunting and fishing. Vince always looked forward to pheasant hunting around Ipswich and deer hunting with friends in the Black Hills. He loved fishing in Akaska and talked about getting back on the river even in his last days.

Vincent was so grateful for the wonderful staff that cared for him at the Avera Dialysis Center and the many patients that became special friends.
