Over the last several years, in his current business, V.J. has traveled throughout South Dakota and the nation. He has talked with teachers, administrators, school children, and people in business and industry. He has a great perspective on the needs and challenges of our state. Having worked for many years as director of the SDSU Alumni Association, he recognizes the role of the university in helping to build the economic strength of our community and the entire state.
He reflects the values of South Dakota and knows hard work and fiscal integrity with our resources are important to the people of the state. He will carefully research issues and listen to constituents to find workable solutions. V.J. has the energy to attack the problems, and the enthusiasm to negotiate workable solutions.
