BROOKINGS – Alexa Buckley scored a pair of goals and Teagan Hartley stopped all nine shots she faced as Watertown topped Brookings 4-0 in an Eastern South Dakota Conference girls’ soccer match Tuesday night at Fishback Soccer Park.

A foul in the box midway through the first half set the Arrows up with a penalty kick opportunity, and Keegan Campbell took advantage to get the visitors on the board.

Buckley scored on assists from Campbell and Macy Reynolds in the 29th minute.

Reynolds got free for a breakaway in the 35th minute to extend the margin to 3-0.

Buckley added an unassisted goal in the 49th minute to provide for the final margin.

The Bobcats’ Emily Rystrom (four) and Josie Bono (three) combined for seven shots on goal.

Grace Mork made four saves in the loss.

Brookings (0-2, 0-1), which fell 3-2 at Sioux Falls Roosevelt in its opener on Saturday, plays host to Huron on Monday at 4 p.m.

Watertown (2-0, 1-0) plays host to Aberdeen Central on Tuesday at 6 p.m.
