Lindsi D. Frahm and Nicholas J. Pekas were married on May 19, 2018, at First United Methodist Church in Wayne, Nebraska, with Pastor Kyle Nelson officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Mark and Dani Frahm, of Wayne, Nebraska. She is a graduate of the University of South Dakota with a master’s degree in speech-language pathology. She is employed by the Yankton School District.
The groom is the son of Jeff and Denise Pekas of Brookings. He is a graduate of the University of South Dakota with a Bachelor of Science degree in chemistry and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Spanish, and is currently pursuing his M.D./Ph.D. at the Sanford School of Medicine.
Serving as the maid of honor was Jade Williams. Bridesmaids were Katarina Hammoud and Meredith Marier. The flower girls were Oakley Kokes and Samantha Zemlicka.
Standing up for the groom was Liz Pekas. The groomsmen were Cory Frahm and Kody Frahm. The ushers were Nicolas Steilen, Jacob Clary, Jeremy Miiller and Josh Earl.
After their Key West, Florida, honeymoon, the couple now resides in Vermillion.
