Window broken at First Lutheran

BROOKINGS – A window was found broken at First Lutheran Church last week, according to Brookings Police.

The incident was reported at 2:40 p.m. Sept. 13, Lt. Marci Gebers said. The church is located in the 300 block of Eighth Street.

“An officer took a report of intentional damage to property,” Gebers said. “A window was found to have been broken out.”

It is believed to have been broken sometime on Saturday (Sept. 11), she said.

“It was glass on one of the west doors,” Gebers said.

Damage is estimated at $100 and there are no suspects, she said.
