BROOKINGS – Logan Jenuwine scored the go-ahead goal on a power play with 9:06 remaining as the Wings beat the Blizzard 2-1 in an NAHL Central Division game Friday night in front of 973 fans at Larson Ice Center.

Andy Carroll assisted on the goal – his 32nd helper of the season.

Aberdeen finished 2-for-5 on the power play as Carson Dimoff’s unassisted tally with 3:36 left in the first period put the visitors on the board.

Brookings pulled even in the second when Brandon Kruse lit the lamp on assists from Christian Canavati and Parker Revering.

Forbes Ploszaj made 24 saves to earn the win in goal. Brookings’ John Begley stopped 23 shots.

The Wings (28-23-3-2) are now in third place alone with 61 points.

The Blizzard (27-23-4-1) dropped to fourth with 59 points – five ahead of the Bismarck Bobcats (26-27-1-1, 54 points) for the final playoff spot in the Central Division with five games to go.
