BROOKINGS – A man fell and injured his head in an accident over the weekend at Novita Nutrition LLC in rural Brookings, according to the Brookings County Sheriff’s Office.
The report came at 10:40 a.m. Saturday at Novita, Assistant Sheriff Scott Sebring said.
“It was found that a worker was repairing a pipe on an elevated deck and fell some 1 1/2 stories to the ground, where he received an injury to his head,” Sebring said.
The man was transported to the Brookings hospital by the Brookings Ambulance.
Also responding were the Aurora First Responders.
The incident is under investigation, Sebring said.
