BROOKINGS — The Associated General Contractors of South Dakota recently announced their annual award winners, recognizing outstanding achievements in the construction industry at the AGC State Convention Awards Banquet on Jan. 15 at The Lodge in Deadwood.

As part of the event, the Build South Dakota Award was presented to Mills Construction Inc. for its exceptional work on the Hamlin School CTE Addition in Hayti. This award honors members for their excellence in project execution, public relations efforts, and contributions to fostering a positive image of the construction industry.

In recognition of its achievement, Mills Construction selected Teen Challenge of the Dakotas as its charity of choice to receive a $500 donation, funded by the AGC of South Dakota. Teen Challenge of the Dakotas is dedicated to transforming the lives of individuals struggling with life-controlling issues, providing them with hope and a path to recovery.

In a news release, Mills Construction said it is honored to support an organization making a meaningful impact in the community and appreciates the AGC of South Dakota for making this contribution possible.
