HAYTI – Five area golf teams participated in the Hamlin Invitational on Thursday afternoon. The Colman-Egan and Arlington girls and boys, Elkton-Lake Benton boys and Sioux Valley and Flandreau girls were all in attendance.
Girls
Madison Bushkofsky of Flandreau was the top area finisher and she came in second with a score of 48. Caitlyn Cradduck of Sioux Valley came in third with a score of 50.
Sioux Valley’s Keyra Kruse and Lillie Noble tied for 16th with a score of 61. Abygale Degen finished right behind her teammates in 18th (62). Colman-Egan’s Aspen Clark tied with Degen and Arlington’s Elli Vincent and Sioux Valley’s Kailey Cradduck tied for 19th (63). Colman-Egan’s Savanna Schmidt came in 25th (66).
Boys
Colman-Egan’s Taylor Kriech was the top area finisher on the boys’ side and he came in third with a score of 40. Arlington’s Aden Bunker and Trey Maaland tied for 18th with a score of 47.
Colman-Egan’s Jack Whitehouse tied for 21st (48) and Arlington’s Bryce Heflin came in 26th (49). Elkton-Lake Benton’s Ethan Wiskur and Colman-Egan’s Holdyn Rentchler each tied for 29th (50).
ELB’s Jack Stein came in 39th (56) and his teammate Berk Hemmen came in 40th (60). Arlington’s Sergio Maldonado came in 45th (63) and ELB’s Eric Wiskur came in 46th (64).
ELB’s Carson Nordmeyer came in 48th (66), Colman-Egan’s Zeke Wendell came in 49th (67) and Arlington’s Marshall Holtz and Chase Henriksen came in 50th (69) and 51st (73), respectively.
