HARRISBURG — The Brookings Bobcats traveled to Harrisburg for a doubleheader against the Tigers on Saturday morning. The boys team battled to a 0-0 draw while the girls team lost 5-0.
The Bobcats will return to action when they travel to Huron for a doubleheader beginning Tuesday at 4 p.m.
The Bobcats and Tigers battled to a scoreless tie in the nightcap of the doubleheader.
Brayden Schreiber led Brookings with three shots and one short on goal. Forrest Giard had two shots while Griffin Bachman and Conner Shelden each had a shot on goal.
Tony Nguyen had four saves while the Bobcats had one corner kick in the game.
Harrisburg scored four goals in the first half and once in the second half to defeat the Bobcats in the second half of the doubleheader.
