WATERTOWN — The Brookings Bobcats finished third and had two golfers finish in the top 10 at the Watertown Invitational at the Watertown Municipal Cattail Golf Course on Tuesday morning.
Delilah Fuls led the way for the Bobcats, finishing tied for third with Watertown’s Aspen Reynolds with a score of 78. Miyah Foerster wasn’t far behind, setting a career-high with a score of 80 and tying with Watertown’s Avery Palmquist for seventh place.
Aubrey Knutzen finished 19th at the tournament with a score of 91 and Josie Bertrand tied for 24th with a score of 99. Kamryn Streich shot a 101 and finished 26th but was not included in the team scoring.
Aberdeen Central finished in first place with a team score of 308 followed by Watertown who had a team score of 322. Brookings finished third with a team score of 348 while Harrisburg (356) and Pierre (364) rounded out the top five.
Aberdeen Central’s Oliva Braun finished first at the tournament with a score of 69 followed by her teammate Emma Doherer, who shot a 75.
The Bobcats will return to action during their home invitational at the Brookings Country Club. The invitational will begin at 10 a.m. Thursday.
