BROOKINGS — The Brookings gymnastic team hosted the Patty Jorgenson Invite on Saturday.
The Bobcats came in fourth place in the second session with 137.850 points.
Layla Erickson was the top finisher for the Bobcats as she came in fourth in the all around with a score of 36.750. Erickson came in seventh in the vault with a score of 9.0500 and eighth in the uneven bars with a score of 8.9750. She came in eighth on the balance beam (9.2500) and 11th in the floor exercise (9.4750).
Kennedy Ronning came in 13th in the all around with a score of 33.375. She finished 21st in the vault (8.5000) and 16th in the uneven bars (8.4250). Ronning came in 29th in the balance beam (7.3000) and 15th in the floor exercise (9.1500).
Ava Petterson finished right behind Ronning in the all around as she came in 14th with a score of 33.125. Petterson came in 28th in the vault (8.3000) and 14th in the uneven bars (8.4750). She finished 30th in the balance beam (7.2750) and 18th in the floor exercise (9.0750).
Nevaeh Strohfus came in 16th in the all around with a score of 32.00. She tied for 24th in the vault (8.3750) and came in 30th in the uneven bars (6.7750). Strohfus tied for 19th in the balance beam (8.2500) and came in 27th in the floor exercise (8.6000).
Lexi Norgaard tied for 19th in the vault with a score of 8.5250 and 17th in the balance beam with a score of 8.6250. Norgaard also came in 23rd in the floor exercise with a score of 8.8000. Brooklyn Ballis came in 25th in the uneven bars with a score of 7.6000.
Sioux Falls Lincoln won the first session on Saturday and Harrisburg won the second session.
Brookings will participate in a triangular with Harrisburg and Yankton on Tuesday in Yankton at 5:30 p.m.
