BROOKINGS — The Brookings boys’ tennis team lost all nine matches to Sioux Falls Christian on Monday.
Zach Mueller lost to Mitchell Hofer in the No. 1 flight match 6-1, 6-1. Braylon Peters fell to Rex Lefever 6-0, 6-0 in the No. 2 match and Carson Kreie lost to Jack Squier 6-0, 6-3 in the No. 3 match. Brodie McCarty was beaten by Elijah Lingren 6-0, 6-1 in the No. 4 match and Andrew Hahn fell to Logan Boyle 6-2, 6-1 in the No. 5 match. Xavier St. Pierre lost to Aaron Soroka 6-3, 6-1 in the final singles match.
In the No. 1 doubles match Peters and Kreie lost to Hofer and Squier 6-1, 6-1. Mueller and McCarty were beaten by Lefever and Boyle 6-1, 6-2 in the No. 2 match and Hahn and St. Pierre fell to Soroka and Lindgren 6-1, 6-2 in the No. 3 match.
Brookings hosts a triangular on Thursday that begins at 10 a.m. at the Hillcrest Tennis Courts.
