Brookings forced another three-and-out and the Patriots punter was lined up in his own end zone. Blake Kannegieter got pressure on the punter and blocked the kick and then Phoenix Sather fell on it in the end zone to make it 21-0 with just over five minutes left in the first quarter.

Ben Schulte then broke loose from 47 yards out and broke a few tackles  to the end zone to make it 42-0. Gavin Anderson threw his second touchdown of the night with just over eight minutes to go in the first half as he connected with Ezra Eidem for a 23-yard score to make it 49-0.

Brookings would score two more times before halftime. Mason Mathis found the end zone from four yards out to make it 56-0. Kannegieter then hit a 20-yard field goal to make the halftime score 59-0.

Douglas scored its lone touchdown of the night early in the fourth quarter. Jack Koper dropped back to pass on fourth and 22 from the Brookings 39 and Jaxon Montalvo came down with it between a pair of Bobcats and worked his way into the end zone. Paiden Sandal worked his way into the end zone for the two-point conversion to make it 59-8. Neither team scored the rest of the way.
