Brookings Health System

The Brookings Health System Board of Trustees will meet at 5 p.m. Monday in the hospital board room. Items on the agenda include:

Brookings County Commission

Brookings County Planning and Zoning Commission

The Brookings County Planning and Zoning Commission, which also serves as the Brookings County Board of Adjusment, will meet at 8 p.m. Tuesday in the Brookings City & County Government Center at 520 Third St. Items on the agenda include:

Board of Adjustment

• Robert Angerhofer has made an application to the Brookings County Board of Adjustment for a conditional use permit. Article IV District Requirements: Chapter 4.03 “LP” Lake-Park District: Section 4.03.02 conditional uses permit No. 6 accessory building with a side-wall greater than 14 feet or more than 2,000 square feet and used accessory buildings greater than 120 square feet. The property is in Dakota Shores Second Subdivision and is in Lake Hendricks Township.

• Hammink Dairy LLC by Wim Hammink has made an application to the Brookings County Board of Adjustment for a conditional use permit. Article IV District Requirements: Chapter 4.01. “A” Agricultural Land District: Section 4.01.04 conditional uses No. 6 Class A, B, and C Concentrated Animal Feeding Operations. The property is in Eureka Township and is located at 19895 470th Ave., Bruce, 57220.

Brookings City Council

It is possible that at least four City Council members may be present at Brookings Area Chamber of Commerce's 2025 “Taste of Brookings” annual celebration at the South Dakota State University Club 71 at Dana J. Dykhouse Stadium on Thursday from 5 to 9 p.m. Though a majority of City Council members may be present, no official city business will be acted upon.
