Brookings County Commission
The Brookings County Commission will hold a special meeting at 3:30 p.m. Thursday in the Brookings City & County Government Center at 520 Thirds St. Items on the agenda include:
• Approve agenda
• Invitation for a citizen to schedule time on the commission agenda for an item not listed
• Action to approve a Resolution declaring a fire danger emergency in Brookings County and prohibiting open burning
Brookings City Council
It is possible that at least four City Council members may be present for the Bobcat Homecoming Parade on Oct.4 at 2 p.m. Parade line up begins at 1 p.m. near Sixth Street and Fifth Avenue. The parade will go south down Fifth Avenue to Front Street, go west down Front Street to Main Avenue, and north on Main Avenue, ending at Sixth Street. Though a majority of City Council members may be present, no official city business will be acted upon.
Brookings Health System
The Brookings Health System Board of Trustees will meet at 5 p.m. Monday in the hospital board room. Items on the agenda include:
