Thursday, Feb. 1
1:12 a.m. Law enforcement arrested a male driver for possession of controlled substance and marijuana.
7:47 a.m. A minor traffic accident was reported to the Brookings PD. No injuries. A city accident report was completed.
8:18 a.m. Officers took a report of harassment.
1:42 p.m. A welfare check was conducted on an individual. A mental health petition was turned in and denied.
4:05 p.m. Officers took a report of theft.
11:51 p.m. Law enforcement took a city non-injury accident report.
Friday, Feb. 2
10:09 a.m. Brookings police conducted a traffic stop. The driver was arrested for a warrant.
9:15 p.m. Brookings police were called to Hy-Vee for a juvenile incident.
9:42 p.m. Officers took a vandalism report.
Saturday, Feb. 3
3:20 a.m. Officers responded to a local residence regarding a male who entered the wrong residence. The male was located and identified. It was determined he had an outstanding warrant. He was placed under arrest for that warrant.
9:31 a.m. The Brookings Police Department took a juvenile report.
10:08 a.m. BPD officers took a report of a non injury accident.
11:18 p.m. Officers investigated an alleged criminal trespass case.
Sunday, Feb. 4
1:27 a.m. BPD officers conducted a traffic stop. One individual was arrested for DUI.
4:40 p.m. A shoplifting report was made with\ the Brookings Police Department. One male was cited for petty theft. The incident is still under investigation.
