8:45 a.m. An officer took a report of vandalism.
10;56 a.m. A report was made of theft from an unlocked motor vehicle. Several items were stolen during the night while the vehicle was parked outside of a residence.
3:29 p.m. A theft by deception was reported at a casino in the City of Brookings. The incident is still under investigation.
Thursday, July 25
8:51 a.m. Th Brookings Police Department took a report of intentional damage to property.
12:13 p.m. Community Service Officer Spoonemore responded to a animal surrender.
12:37 p.m. Officers responded to a traffic complaint resulting in a DUI arrest.
12:53 p.m. Brookings police responded to a non-injury accident.
1:55 p.m. A referral was sent to the Brookings Police from the Department of Social Services.
11:48 p.m. An officer responded to the 400 block of State Avenue for a report of vandalism.
Friday, July 27
12:16 a.m. An officer arrested an individual for DUI.
12:23 p.m. A male walked into the Brookings Police Department to report that a vehicle struck his in the Hy-Vee parking lot and drove away.
2:10 p.m. The Brookings Police Department took a report of suspicious activity.
