BROOKINGS — Mid-day Lenten lunches will be Wednesdays through March 27 in the First Lutheran Church activity center.

Soup, sandwiches, cookies and a beverage will be served fro 11:30 a.m. to 12:10 p.m. for $10. A brief community worship service will then held from 12:10 to 12:45 p.m. with a message from a different pastor each week.

Proceeds benefit the Brookings Ministerial Association. Participants are asked to park on the west side of the church, which is at 337 Eighth St., to allow room for pick up/drop off at the church’s preschool.
