SIOUX FALLS — The South Dakota Corn Growers Association recently announced it is hosting its 39th Annual South Dakota Corn Conference on Jan. 18. The event will be at the Sioux Falls Convention Center.
Attendees will enjoy complimentary daytime educational sessions from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. led by nationally renowned experts in weather, market trends and biofuels. Lunch is included with pre-registration.
The evening event from 5:30 to 10 p.m. features fellowship and celebration including awards, a plated meal, and a Silent CORNPAC Auction. Keynote speaker and extraordinary storyteller Keni Thomas will captivate the audience with his experience as an Army Ranger in the infamous “Blackhawk Down” 18-hour fire fight in Mogadishu, Somalia, where 19 Americans died and 78 were wounded.
