MITCHELL — The Brookings Bobcats picked up a win on the road as they defeated Mitchell on Tuesday night.
The Kernels took the first set 26-24 before the Bobcats stormed back to win the second set 25-13. Brookings won the third set 25-22 before Mitchell won the fourth set 25-18 and the Bobcats closed out the match with a 15-11 win in the fifth set.
Macy Even led the Bobcats with 17 kills in the win while Rylee Thompson had 16 kills and Sydney Bebensee had 13 kills. Kylie Moe and Even led Brookings with 20 digs each while Bebensee had 19 digs.
Kymber Buys racked up 46 assists in the win while Arielle Ferrell had three blocks and Tess Burns had four aces.
Brookings improved to 9-7 with the win and will host Huron on Thursday night.
