Sioux Valley beat Milbank in five sets on Tuesday night on the road. In other area action, Deubrook and Oldham-Ramona/Rutland swept their opponents, while Arlington fell in four sets to Madison.

Deubrook swept Deuel and ORR swept Freeman Academy/Marion.

• Sioux Valley 3, Milbank 2

MILBANK — The Cossacks rallied after dropping the first two sets to win the final three in a thriller against Milbank on Tuesday night.

Milbank won the first two sets each by a score of 25-19 before Sioux Valley won the third set 25-19, the fourth set 25-17 and the fifth set 15-11.

Kaedyn Sapp led the Cossacks with 21 kills while Adison Renkly had 18 kills and Allie Hofer had 16 kills.

Caitlyn Cradduck and Machaela Gerasch each had 30 assists to lead Sioux Valley while Sapp had 33 digs and Talya Vincent had 21 digs. Emma Gordin, Keyra Kruse and Renkly each had four blocks.

Sioux Valley improved to 10-4 on the season and will take part in the Pentagon Tournament in Sioux Falls this weekend.

Deubrook 3, Deuel 0

WHITE — The Dolphins handled business and picked up their fourth win of the season. Deubrook won the first set 25-20 and then took the second set 25-13. The Dolphins then closed out the match with a 25-16 win in the third set.

Matte Bauman led the Dolphins with 11 kills and 11 assists. Hanna Kjelden had 10 digs and 11 kills. Madalyn Bauman had 17 assists and Delaney Pedersen had 14 digs. Kyarra Blum had eight kills and Zoey Molengraaf had six kills.

Deubrook is now 4-7 on the season and hosts Estelline/Hendricks on Thursday at 7 p.m.

Oldham-Ramona/Rutland 3, Freeman Academy/Marion 0

FREEMAN — ORR improved to .500 on the season with the sweep of the Bearcats. The Raiders won by scores of 25-19, 25-14 and 25-11.

Julia Trygstad had 12 kills and 11 digs to lead the Raiders. Emilly Matson had 14 assists, 11 digs and five aces. Alivia Bickett had nine digs and nine kills. Rylan Pearson had 12 assists and four digs. Bella Malisch had four kills.

ORR hosts Sioux Falls Lutheran at the Oldham-Ramona school at 7 p.m. on Thursday.
