BROOKINGS — A pair of incumbents have formally filed to run for the Brookings School Board.
Keli Books and Debra DeBates both filed sufficient petitions to be placed on the ballot, according to board director of business services Brian Lueders.
The deadline to file School board petitions is Feb. 23 at 5 p.m. They can be filed at the administration office at 2130 8th St. S. in Brookings.
The election will be held April 9.
