LAKE PRESTON — The Iroqouis/Lake Preston Sharks advanced in the Region 2B volleyball tournament as they swept the Oldham-Ramona/Rutland Raiders in three sets on Monday night.
While the Sharks picked up the sweep, all three sets were competitive with ILP winning the first set 25-23, the second set 31-29 and the third set 25-22.
Hadlee Holt led the Sharks with 14 kills, three blocks and 35 digs. Holt also had a pair of aces.
Kera Dubro had eight kills and three aces.
Brityn Davies had six kills and 36 assists.
Natalie Cundy had two blocks. Trinity Pirlet had nine digs. Bentlee Holt had an ace.
Camlin Schneider led ORR with 16 kills. Bailey Hyland had six kills while Bella Malisch had four kills.
Emily Matson had 16 assists while Rylan Pearson had six assists.
Hattie Hanson had four blocks. Schneider had two blocks.
Gabby Pickard had 21 digs while Hyland and Matson had 13 digs each.
Riedel had three aces. Schneider and Jordyn Reagle had two aces.
The eighth-seeded Sharks will continue their run through the regional tournament when they travel to Castlewood at 6 p.m. Tuesday.
