HOLLISTER, Mo. - The South Dakota State women's golf team held off a third-round surge to win the Ozarks National Invitational team title Wednesday. Piper Stubbs earned individual medalist honors.
Stubbs, a senior, fired 69 (-3) for her final lap and finished the tournament with a +4 scorecard. She finished three shots ahead of the runner-up finishers.
McKenzie Mages also had a solid day Wednesday. She posted an even-par 72 for the final round and tied for fourth place (+8). Resse Jansa (+11, eighth) and Shakira-Ann Kuys (+13, t-10th) were also top-10 finishers for the Jackrabbits.
