PIERRE — A Lake Andes man has pleaded guilty to one count of first-degree manslaughter in the stabbing death of another man in May.
Mackenzie Antelope, 18, pleaded guilty Monday in Charles Mix Circuit Court. He faces a maximum sentence of life in prison when sentenced at 9 a.m. on Feb. 28.
The incident took place May 21, in a Lake Andes motel. Antelope also had been charged in injuring a second person in the same incident.
