I have many friends in Brookings that are Democrats and a high percentage of them have told me that their Harris/Waltz yard signs were stolen. Some even report that multiple such signs were stolen.

I also have friends that are Trump supporters and none of them have said to me that any of their Trump/Vance signs have been stolen.

Regardless, I presume these thefts are being perpetrated by angry misguided juveniles and not adults. However, in the current political climate, angry misguided adult behavior seems to be the norm and juveniles are learning from them.

It’s hard to believe that yards signs influence anyone one way or the other; signs are merely a form of freedom of speech and it’s sad that some people think that denying others of their freedom of speech rights is an effective way to win.
